Welcome to Bramham Medical Centre

Bramham Medical Centre is a 3-partner, semi-rural practice situated in the village of Bramham located within the City of Leeds Metropolitan Borough.

The Practice Philosophy

Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Bramham Medical Centre are dedicated to providing high quality health care in a friendly, professional and modern setting, to all its patients, whatever their needs.

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Serving You

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescriptionbook or cancel an appointment online, if you are registered for this service.  You can also use eReception below to book routine appointments or if you have an enquiry about your medication etc, and anyone registered at the practice can use this service.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our Patient Group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering, are always heading in the same direction.

Print out our Patient Information Booklet for more information about the surgery.

Please read what's important to our Patient Services Team, and how we can work together in partnership.  The full version of the Patient Services Team Charter can be read in our Patient Information Booklet.

A new infection has been detected in Wuhan, China called the Novel Coronavirus.  Advice from Public Health England states if you have travelled through mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan or Thailand to the UK in the last 14 days and develop ANY of these symptoms: cough, fever or shortness of breath. Please DO NOT book an appointment with your GP or attend your GP practice. You should immediately stay indoors and avoid contact with other people, contact a healthcare professional for free advice and treatment, by telephoning NHS 111, or if you have symptoms of cough, fever or shortness of breath after being in contact with someone with a confirmed case of Coronavirus. Please click on the link HERE for the most up-to-date information.

Following on from the successful Dementia Awareness Sessions held in September 2019.  The Parish Council are hoping to extend the sessions into 2020.  The sessions will be run with the help of a trained "dementia champion" from WiSE and in collaboration with the GP Surgery, who are fully behind the initiative.  The Council are also hoping to extend the sessions to local businesses, the school and community groups in the future. The aim of these sessions is not only to improve the understanding of the condition in the village, but also to improve local access to support and services.  If you are interested in attending any sessions please click here for more information and contact details.

As well as Public Bank Holidays, the Practice also closes from time to time for staff education and training, this is externally organised by the Leeds NHS Clinical Commissioning Group and is in line with all GP Practices within the Leeds CCG.

On the following afternoons the Surgery will be closed for staff training from 12:00 noon:-

  • Thursday 23rd January 2020
  • Thursday 6th February 2020
  • Thursday 5th March 2020

When calling the surgery after 12:00 noon on any of the above dates, please listen carefully to the recorded message.

Please ensure you allow plenty of notice for ordering repeat medication.
